been a while

hey, its been a while since i wrote something here... but i have to mentioned this..especially to C. last sat was at zouk... went down for Gabriel & Dresden..no, they're not my friends... they were awesome... dropped tracks like "Beautiful Things" and "mind circle" ... and when "Mr Brightside" came on...i totally went crazy and was hopping on the dancefloor... i stayed on till 5am so you could imagine how solid the set was....

"Mr Brightside"

Coming out of my cage
And I've been doing just fine
Gotta gotta be down
Because I want it all
It started out with a kiss
How did it end up like this?
It was only a kiss
It was only a kiss

Now I'm falling asleep
And she's calling a cab
While he's having a smoke
And she's taking the drag

Now they're going to bed
And my stomach is sick
And it's all in my head
But she's touching his chest now

He takes off her dress now
Let me go
And I just can't look
It's killing me
And taking control

Jealousy
Turning saints into the sea
Turning through sick lullaby
Joking on your alibi
But it's just the price I pay
Destiny is calling me
Open up my eager eyes
I'm Mr. Brightside

tonight i think im heading down there again since its their last night before a revamp... gonna go charge my camera and snap the night away.....

yo! i'm glad you had such a swell time! I can't wait for their set at Godskitchen in less than a month.

Admittedly "Beautiful Things" sounds a bit lian lah, i can imagine them playing it at This Fashion or some Toa Payoh lian shop--but i like! :)

I hope its a good revamp man, looking forward to the new Zouk in December.
