'no' fireworks...

guess what? i'm back with a new post and some photos.. didnt take tonnes of photos but still some though.... the weekend came and gone in a flash ...good times never last as long as bad times...


cute right, these mushrooms... they're actually red bean chocolate biscuits.. they're so interesting and cute..yep you guessed it, they're from japan..courtesy of my jet-setting friend...

earlier on, i went with a friend hoping to catch some fireworks since it was the last day of the singapore fireworks festival... didnt catch any from national day eve or even national day itself... so we drove to temasek boulevard or i think thats the road name... the road that leads to ritz carlton and esplanade (the one you get to go below ECP) and then we were stuck in a major traffic jam!!! cause everyone stopped to see fireworks...and cars lined the side of the roads... but since singapore is such a green city...we have soooooooooooooooo many trees that they blocked our view of the fireworks totally (well, 90%). so there we were, stuck in a traffic jam, honking everywhere, and only 10% sight of the fireworks....

"bwaaaaahhh...cannot see fireworks..."

so what we do? we improvise.....


we have our own mini-fireworks!!

the whole fireworks show lasted 10-15 mins..but the jam lasted 45mins...grrr... so we decided to go for a good cuppa and we ended up playing something we havent played in a looooong while.....

good ol' UNO!!
yea, sure the good ol' UNO ..we played like 5 rounds cause it round took quite a while..and i lost 4 rounds in a row... champion right??

creepy, I predicted Chelsea to win 1-0 and they really did... goodness... to all those whom I told to stay out of the chelsea game yet still placed your bets on them ... i got 3 words for you.... "TOLD YOU SO!"
then again, people out there who dont really bet soccer would think "ok wat ..chelsea won...so win money wat.." well no, cause the opposition had a 1.5 goal advantage... meaning to say, the final score Chelsea 1 Wigan 1.5 ...
then you might ask where got 0.5 goal one ... well this, im damn lazy to explain..go ask your friendly ah beng punter with a beer,at the coffeeshop or people who spend hours standing at Sinagpore Pools outlets staring at the LCD screens...
