LOTS of SPACE

kindly ignore the dates from the previous post.... read the papers this morning.. smoking will be banned from all kopitiams(cofffeeshops) and hawker centres come july 2006 and for entertainment spots, july 2007.

if you guys were to read the FORUM today, there was an interesting post. This guy wrote in to say how the word 'lot' has been wrongly used by 99% of Singaporeans. A lot of us think that a parking 'lot' is a vacant space where you can park your vehicle... but a lot refers to a plot of land reserved for an activity and you don't exactly need a whole plot of land to park your car. so we should stop saying "oei, theres a parking lot over there!" Instead, it should be , "Oei!! there got parking SPACE!!" just thought that was something worth posting ....
